Art In The Classroom

Franklin Elementary School PTO is proud to sponsor the Art in the Classroom program. Not only does it  offer an excellent way for you to spend some quality time in your child’s classroom, it also brings the joy of learning about and experiencing the magic of masters and masterpieces of arts. It is a monthly program designed to expose students to the world of art history.

By the time your child has completed 5 years at Franklin, they'd have had the opportunity to get introduced to the works and specialties of many artists spanning many generations, a variety of mediums and incredible plethora of styles. 

We thank you for volunteering to continue this fabulous tradition for the Franklin Falcons!

Here's a quick overview of what you are signing up for when you pick an artist/month.

1. Co-ordinate with your teacher to finalize the time and date that works for everyone. 
2. A week before that date, pick up the relevant materials from the storage closet. 
3. Review your material and lesson plan. You can find all the lesson plans here.
4. Present and have fun!
5. Return all the materials.
