A Note From the PTO President

Dear Franklin Families,

Tomorrow marks the end of another school year and our students will be heading into summer break with memories of their teachers, classmates, and all the wonderful experiences they have had throughout the year. On behalf of the entire PTO, I would like to take a moment to thank our Falcon families, teachers, students, staff, and volunteers for making this our best year yet!

With your generous support, the PTO was able to fund numerous projects throughout the year including picnic tables for under the sunshades and a schoolwide "Fly High Falcons" spirit-wear t-shirt campaign to foster a greater sense of community amongst our students. For our final project of the year, we are thrilled to announce that we will be funding an installation of protective wall padding all around the gym to enhance the entire space for functionality, safety, and aesthetics, giving it a fresh new look in time for the next school year.  We couldn't have done any of these projects without your generous donations!!

Additionally, the PTO, along with our dedicated team of volunteers and committee chairs, brought several initiatives and beloved traditions to the school community this year. These included student field trips, assemblies, after-school enrichments, author visits, Math Olympiad, 'Art in the Classroom', teacher appreciation initiatives, and more. We also hosted several events that continue to strengthen our Franklin community like the Holiday Shop, Multicultural Night, the Book Fair, the Back to School Picnic, and last but not least, our flasghsip event, the Franklin Fair. Together, we enriched the educational experiences of our children and that is all thanks to YOU!

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Mrs. Loor, Mrs. Napoles, Mrs. Zanelli and the entire team at Franklin for their partnership and dedication to our children. We are so grateful to have such a stellar group of teachers and staff who guide, teach, support, and genuinely care for our children. And while we are sad to see Mrs. Loor go, we say farewell with fond memories and send our best wishes to her in her new role.  On the flip side, we are thrilled to welcome Ms. Jenna Colineri with open arms and are happy to have her join our amazing community.

On a personal note, I would like to share how much I have enjoyed serving as your PTO President this year. It was from this vantage point that I saw just how engaged and dedicated our Franklin families are in making this school the special place that it is. It has been my honor and privilege to get the opportunity to work with the volunteers, parents, staff, and the amazing PTO board to bring all of this programming to you this year. I feel blessed to be a part of such an amazing community and I wish you all a wonderful summer filled with family, friends, and lots of sunshine!

With gratitude,
Bridget Renzulli
