Franklin Fair Is Almost Here!

- The Franklin Fair is almost here! Save the date for Friday, 5/30 (rain date Saturday, 5/31) from 4:30pm-7:30pm!
- Get ready for an evening of fun, friends and prizes!
- We need your help making the Franklin Fair a fun and memorable event! Please see below for ways that you can participate and for important information.
Volunteer at the Franklin Fair
- The Franklin Fair committee is looking for volunteers to help with this year's event on Friday, 5/30. Sign up with a friend for an hour time slot!
- We are in need of volunteers to sell pizza slices at the pizza table, assist at the dunk tank, iron patches onto bags at the craft table, and manage the Children's Raffle buckets in the gym.

Dunk Tank Volunteers

The PTO is looking for willing participants to sit in the dunk tank at the Franklin Fair on 5/30 (about a 10 min shift).

The Fair falls on a later date this year so we are hoping for much warmer weather!

We are looking for any adults (school staff or parents) OR any 5th graders (5ft or taller) willing to take the plunge!

Please email franklinschoolptosummit@gmail.com with your completed waivers before 5/23. Click here for the Adult Waiver and here for the Student Waiver.

If we receive more entries than we have space for, we will hold a drawing and notify the participants the week of the Franklin Fair.
Ticket Packages Available for THIS WEEK!
- Franklin Fair ticket packages will be available for pre-order THIS WEEK!
- Please look for information to come home in your child's Wednesday folder on 5/14.
- Ticket package order forms are due back in ONE WEEK, so DON'T DELAY!
- Pre-purchasing ticket packages saves you time the day of the Fair!
Franklin Fair Poster Contest

We invite all students to enter the poster contest to help the PTO advertise for the Franklin Fair!

Submissions may be done digitally (on the computer) or hand drawn. There will be a winner in both categories from grades 1-3 and grades 4-5!

Please submit your posters by 4/22 and winners will be announced 4/25.

Digital submissions should be sent to franklinschoolptosummit@gmail.
com and hand drawn submissions can be handed in to Mrs. Napoles in the front office. -
All entries need to be sent or handed in by 3:00pm on Wednesday 4/22 in order to be considered. Unfortunately, we cannot accept late submissions.

Posters should include the following information: Name of the event (Franklin Fair) and the date (5/30) and also a mention of the children’s raffle and silent auction. Other details about this year’s fair include bounce houses, dunk tank, food trucks, carnival games, a DJ, raffle prizes and more!
Neurodiversity Spirit Week

April is Neurodiversity Acceptance Month. To celebrate, Franklin will have a spirit week, chalk the sidewalks with positive and inclusive messages as well as read about all the ways people learn and think differently. Each week, the school will highlight a famous figure who is neurodivergent. Please see the spirit week flyer below.

Franklin’s Read Across America celebration will run March 3 - 7. We have many fun activities planned, including surprise guest readers, a theme week, potatoes dressed as book characters and a Vocabulary Parade! Please see the flier for our schedule.
